Terms & Conditions

Clear terms for using our free money tools, resources, webinars and family learning services.

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms cover the GetFinUp website, free resources, calculators, webinars and online family learning services. GetFinUp Ltd is referred to as “GetFinUp”, “we” or “us”. Please read these terms before using a service or placing an order. A particular product may also have specific information shown at checkout and in your order confirmation.

Contact us through getfinup.com/contact, or write to GetFinUp, 5 Otters Close, Orpington, BR5 3PN, United Kingdom. Our use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

2. Adults, teenagers and family use

Purchases and adult registration forms are for people aged 18 or over. GetFinUp15 is intended for family learning with a parent or guardian involved. The adult is responsible for providing accurate registration information, supervising a young person’s use and keeping account details secure. Please avoid sharing a child’s private contact details or sensitive family financial information in lead-capture or enquiry forms.

3. Educational purpose and calculator examples

GetFinUp teaches general money skills. Our materials and calculators do not provide personalised financial, investment, tax, credit or legal advice, and do not recommend a particular financial product. Speak to an appropriately qualified professional when you need advice about your own circumstances.

Calculator results depend on the figures and assumptions entered. Saving timelines, inflation adjustments and investment projections are illustrations, not predictions or guarantees. Returns, costs and circumstances can change; investments can fall as well as rise. We do not guarantee earnings, savings, investment performance or any particular outcome from using a resource or taking a course.

4. Free resources, webinars and communications

We may ask for contact details so that we can deliver a resource you request, provide webinar access and respond to support enquiries. Please use details you are authorised to provide. Optional marketing permission is separate from receiving the requested free resource. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the email link or by contacting us.

Free resources may be updated or withdrawn for future users. A webinar or resource may describe a paid offer; purchasing it is optional. Any price or availability condition applies only as clearly stated in the relevant offer.

5. Orders, payment and course access

Before paying, check the product description, price, currency, payment arrangement, technical requirements and any stated access period. The terms of the specific offer and your order confirmation describe what is included. We will not treat a one-off payment as permission to start an undisclosed subscription.

A purchase contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order. Payment and account-access instructions are handled through the checkout and the confirmation provided for that order. You need a suitable device, internet connection and compatible browser to use online content. Tell us promptly if you have paid but have not received the expected access details.

If an obvious pricing error or a problem means we cannot accept an order, we will explain the issue and refund a payment taken for an order we cannot fulfil. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms. For an online purchase of digital content or a service, a 14-day cancellation period generally starts after the contract is made, subject to the rules applying to that supply.

For digital content supplied during that period, the cancellation right is lost only when supply has begun after you have expressly agreed to early supply and acknowledged the loss of that right, with the required confirmation. Merely paying, receiving a link or having these terms available does not replace those requirements. Where those requirements have not been met, your applicable cancellation rights remain.

If a service begins during the cancellation period at your express request, different rules may apply to a proportionate charge for work already supplied. We will explain any applicable charge rather than assume that accessing a service removes all rights.

To cancel, use our contact form or the reply route in your order confirmation. A clear statement that you wish to cancel is sufficient. Include your name, the email used for the order, the product and the order date or reference so we can identify it. For example: “I give notice that I cancel my order for [product], ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Order email or reference: [details].” A refund due following a valid cancellation will be made within the applicable legal timeframe, normally within 14 days of being informed, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

If paid digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer standards, contact us. Your legal remedies may include repair, replacement or a price reduction, depending on the circumstances. The cancellation rules above do not remove remedies for faulty content. Any additional guarantee expressly offered with a product applies alongside your statutory rights.

7. Using and sharing our materials

Unless a resource or separate agreement expressly says otherwise, you may use purchased or downloaded materials for your own household’s learning. You may print worksheets for that purpose. You must not sell, redistribute, publicly upload, commercially reproduce or remove ownership notices from our course content, videos, guides or tools without permission.

Schools, organisations and partners should contact us about a suitable licence rather than share one household account across a group. Keep login details private and do not attempt to bypass access controls.

8. Acceptable use and availability

Do not misuse our services, upload unlawful or harmful material, interfere with another person’s access, attempt unauthorised access or use a service to harass others. Where necessary, we may take proportionate steps to protect users, security or legal rights. Any action affecting a paid service remains subject to your contractual and consumer rights.

We aim to keep our services usable, but temporary maintenance, technical problems or events outside our reasonable control can affect availability. Contact us if an interruption materially affects a paid service so that we can address it. We do not exclude responsibility that the law requires us to accept.

9. Responsibility and your rights

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill. You remain responsible for the personal financial decisions you make; educational examples do not take account of every individual circumstance.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These services are offered for personal family use; a separate agreement is needed for business or organisational use.

10. Questions, complaints and changes

Please contact us with a question or complaint and explain the service, order or issue concerned. Keep a copy of your order confirmation and the information supplied with it. We will consider the issue and explain the next steps.

We may update these website terms for future use. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights under an existing order; the terms and offer accepted for that order continue to apply unless a lawful change is agreed.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts of your home jurisdiction that the law provides. Nothing here requires a UK consumer to give up protections that apply where they live.
